What We Do
Group members learning about captive tigers at the National Tiger Sanctuary.
The student chapter of Mizzou Tigers for Tigers works to educate the student body by:
- Information booths at athletic events
- Information booths at Earth Day
- Bringing in speakers
- Speaking with local schools
- Zoo and sanctuary trips and tours
- Public service announcements
The student chapter also fundraises to donate to conservation groups, such as STF and WWF, by:
- Bake sales
- Cupcake eating contests
- Annual Doggie Play Day
- Paper airplane contest
- Walk-a-thon
